Art Show – Articulate Ground: A Multi-Media Ode to Home

This year’s art show is inspired by our literary festival on the last day of the festival. Articulate Ground is a multi-media expression of poetry and prose: an ode to home. Curated by Rachelle Chinnery, this exhibit includes work by Rachelle Chinnery, Cimarron Knight, Cornelia Hoogland, Ted Goodden, Kim Johnson, Veronica Lynn Graham and Ann Newdigate. This show will have open hours throughout the festival.

McCagherty & Smith – jazz

Avram McCagherty has dedicated his career to the exploration of traditional jazz. He founded and fronted Victoria’s well-known The Stomp Club and The Capital City Syncopators. Joey Smith is a bassist, guitarist and arranger. He has worked with many well-known musicians, including arranging for and touring with the Glenn Miller Orchestra. This duo promises to enchant, dusting off beautiful chestnuts of the great American songbook and giving them a fresh treatment born of passion and experience.
