Canadian/American soprano, Lauren Pearl Eberwein, is a graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music and performed as an Emerging Artist with Opera Philadelphia and as a member of the prestigious Canadian Opera Company’s Ensemble Studio. An avid and passionate chamber musician, Lauren has held residencies at the Marlboro Music Festival, Chamberfest Cleveland, and The New York Festival of Song. Upcoming chamber music collaborations include projects with The Rosebud Quartet, Echo Chamber Toronto, The Aizuri Quartet, Taoarts Chamber Festival, The Israeli Chamber Project, and an international tour with Musicians from Marlboro.

Lauren made her Carnegie Hall debut in 2016 with the New York Choral Society singing Handel’s Israel in Egypt, and the following season debuted at Lincoln Center performing songs of Liszt in recital with Adam Golka and Orion Weiss. Equally comfortable on both the concert and opera stage, Lauren made her Canadian Opera Company debut as Wellgunde in Wagner’s Götterdämmerung; her roles with the company have included Fünft Magt in Strauss’ Elektra, Musetta in Puccini’s La Bohème, Gianetta in Donezetti’s L’elisir d’amore, Countess Ceprano in Verdi’s Rigoletto, The Cook in Stravinsky’s The Nightingale, and Dido in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas.
