There was a massive fist fight in a soccer match between Bangor 1876 and Rhyl 1879 players, a historic North Wales derby in the Ardal North West league.

The referee was forced to send off seven players, all with straight red cards. The match was also called off.

The brawl started when Bangor 1876 defender Shaun Lock tried to delay a corner kick, causing a scuffle between the players.

What started as a small altercation between them into turned into a mass brawl when Tom Clarke (Bangor 1876) was punched by Alex Jones (Rhyl 1879).

Just before the punch-up broke out, the score was tied 1-1.
