Conor McGregor will be back in 2023 in the octagon.

After suffering a broken league while fighting Dustin Poirier,McGregor wants to star in “multiple” fights next year.

Conor McGregor is one of the biggest names in the UFC, even after his injury this past July. However, he wants to return most triumphantly.

McGregor’s comeback plans

Conor McGregor is still recovering from his broken leg. Nevertheless, he used the time not only for physical therapy, launching a new business, and building his body.

According to The Sun, The Notorious also planned his return to the octagon and wants to give UFC’s fans more than one combat in 2023.

“I’m feeling crazy confident. Calm. Detached from emotion,” McGregor mentioned. “Aware of what I must do and making it happen, visualizing. I see it all, clear.”

“This movie wraps, I’m back. I’ll have multiple fights completed by the time this movie even releases,” McGregor commented.

McGregor’s possible next fight

Even when Dana White wanted combat at the end of 2022 or early 2023, USADA requires fighters who were removed from the pool to enroll at least six months before the next fight.

If Connor McGregor enrolls right now, he would hold the fight in April. However, USADA can give McGregor a “exceptional circumstances or where the strict application of that rule would be manifestly unfair to the athlete” pass.

The exemption will grant The Notorious less time to return to the octagon. McGregor must provide two negative drug tests if the exemption is not conceded.

However, if applied, The Notorious might get USADA’s exemption. In 2016, USADA granted heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar an exemption to compete at UFC 200.
