The odds for who will be the fastest in qualifying

Verstappen took his sixth pole of the season last time out in Japan, and the Dutch driver is the favourite to start from P1 this weekend. Verstappen is just ahead of Leclerc in the odds, with the Monegasque driver having taken nine pole positions so far this year – including two in the last three races.

Carlos Sainz – who has one pole this season – is third favourite to be the fastest driver on Saturday, ahead of Sergio Perez and Hamilton – who are tied for fourth. George Russell – who took pole in Hungary – is the sixth favourite to start from the front of the grid this weekend.

The odds for a podium finish

Having been on the podium 14 times already this season, Verstappen is seen as the most likely driver to finish in the top three this weekend, just ahead of Leclerc – who has finished on the podium in the last four races – with Perez the third favourite.

Lando Norris – the only driver outside of the top six in the championship to finish on the podium – is the seventh favourite to finish in the top three this weekend, just ahead of the Alpine duo of Fernando Alonso and Esteban Ocon – who are tied for eighth.

Verstappen has achieved the fastest lap on five occasions this year – the most of any driver – and he is the favourite to do the same this weekend. Leclerc and Perez – who have achieved the fastest lap three times this season each – are second and third, respectively, in the odds.

Sainz is the fourth favourite to get the fastest lap, just ahead of Hamilton in fifth. Norris – who got the fastest lap in Monaco – is tied for eighth in the odds alongside team mate Daniel Ricciardo and Esteban Ocon.

Red Bull have a chance to close out the constructors’ championship this weekend, having taken the most points last time out in Japan, after sealing a one-two finish. They are the favourites ahead of Ferrari to leave Austin with the most points on Sunday.
