The biggest ranking jump among the WTA’s year-end Top 100 this year goes to Daria Saville, formerly Daria Gavrilova, who soared 366 spots between 2021 (No. 419) and 2022 (No. 53).

Saville’s season was highlighted by a very sunny Sunshine Swing, reaching the fourth round of Indian Wells and the quarterfinals in Miami—those two results alone propelled her from No. 409 to No. 129. A former Top 20 player, the Australian also reached her fifth WTA final in Granby, Canada, the week before the US Open, and picked up the 11th and 12th Top 10 wins of her career, over Ons Jabeur (in Indian Wells) and Jessica Pegula (in Washington D.C.)
