On a night in which an injury to Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray hung over the game, the Cards simply couldn’t keep up with the New England Patriots.
The Patriots, keyed by their defense, ran off 20 straight points to pull away for a 27-13 victory over the Cardinals on Monday Night Football.
Murray was lost for the game — and perhaps much longer — on just the third play from scrimmage with a knee injury.
Mac Jones and the Patriots, however, pulled above .500 and kept their playoff hopes alive.
