On a frigid evening at Lambeau Field, the Green Bay Packers built a big lead and held on against the Los Angeles Rams.

Spurred by a pair of AJ Dillon touchdowns, the Packers bested the Rams on Monday Night Football, keeping their faint playoff hopes alive while eliminating the defending Super Bowl champions.

Aaron Rodgers and the Packers won their second game in a row, while the Rams lost for the seventh time in their last eight.

Though some Baker Mayfield magic in Week 14 led L.A. to a win, the Rams’ latest loss saw them tie the 1999 Denver Broncos for the earliest elimination from postseason contention of any defending Super Bowl champion in history.

Around the NFL will have more from Nick Shook shortly.
