Pele is still in the eye of the whole soccer world, because we are in the World Cup season and also because of his delicate health condition. However, reports from the Albert Einstein hospital in Sao Paulo indicate that ‘O Rei’ has evolved favorably in recent days.
Mbappe’s great detail to Pele
One of the most important characters to send good wishes to the Brazilian star was Kylian Mbappe, one of the leading stars of world soccer today who, by the way, in Qatar 2022 managed to take over a record that belonged to the former Santos player, as the top scorer in a World Cup for a player under 24 years of age, with nine goals.
This feat was applauded by Pele himself on his social networks and he thanked Mbappe for his good wishes in the face of illness and said he was happy to see him break his records.
“Thank you KMbappe, I’m happy to see you break another one of my records in this Cup, my friend!” wrote Pelé.
How is Pelé’s health progressing?
The top soccer player reappeared on social networks, after he has been hospitalized for several days after he has been affected by colon cancer and also had a respiratory infection.
Last Friday, the Brazilian press reported that Pele was suffering from metastasis because the cancer had spread to his lungs, liver and intestines and that he was receiving palliative treatments because he was no longer responding to treatment.
In addition, it was reported that he had been infected with Covid-19 and that this led to the respiratory condition that took him back to the hospital, due to his delicate health condition and his advanced age of 82 years.
For his part, Mbappé is preparing to face England this Saturday, in search of a ticket to the semifinals of the 2022 World Cup.
