Week 8 of the NFL has arrived and as we are almost halfway through the 2022 season, a vitally important game will take place at Raymond James Stadium when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers host the Baltimore Ravens in a matchup that could mark a negative milestone just over 20 years in the making.
Tom Brady, the legendary Buccaneers quarterback, has accumulated two consecutive losses and if he loses to the Ravens on Thursday Night Football, he will lose three games for only the second time in his illustrious career, the first time that happened in 2002, in his first full season as starter of the New England Patriots and also the only one in which he has not been injured and his team has not made the playoffs.

As if this were not enough, Brady has 21 years without having two more games lost than won on his record, and if defeated on this occasion, Tampa Bay’s record would be 3-5, the last time this happened was when he was 1-3 in 2001, when he untimely took the place of the injured Drew Bledsoe in the Pats.
Lamar Jackson vs. Tom Brady
On the other side is a Baltimore team that has Lamar Jackson as its star player, an elusive quarterback who while he has played at a high level and has the Ravens leading the AFC North, in his case, is fighting to be the highest paid quarterback in the NFL after failing to reach a renewal deal with his current team in the offseason.
Although they are not the two best teams currently in the NFL, both come in as tied leaders of their respective divisions, so a win today is extremely important to maintain that status. Which of the two teams will do it?
