Gerard Pique‘s final game as a Barcelona player sees the Catalans host Almeria at the Camp Nou on Saturday, all with the aim of staying within touching distance of Real Madrid at the top of the LaLiga Santander table.
Pique will hang up his boots as a player with the fifth-highest number of appearances for Barcelona, and coach Xavi Hernandez is one of those with more games under his belt. The ex-midfielder is expected to play the centre-back.
With Real Madrid not playing until Monday night away at Rayo Vallecano, Barcelona can go temporarily go to the top of the LaLiga Santander table.
